Terms and conditions

Terms of Use

The conditions for using MedAuto's website and vehicle services.

Last updated: September 2026

Welcome to MedAuto. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://medauto.eu and the services provided through it.

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

1.About MedAuto

MedAuto provides vehicle sourcing and related services, including assistance with finding vehicles, arranging inspections, purchasing, transportation, export documentation and international shipping.

Depending on the transaction, MedAuto may act as an intermediary or service provider and arrange transactions with third-party dealers, sellers, inspection companies, transport companies, shipping companies and other providers. MedAuto's specific role in each transaction will be communicated to the customer before confirmation.

2.Use of the Website

You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You agree not to:

  • use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
  • provide false or misleading information
  • attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems
  • interfere with the website's operation or security
  • copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission
  • use automated systems to scrape or collect website content without our authorisation

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where necessary to protect the website, our business or other users.

3.Vehicle Listings

Vehicle information on the website may come from dealers, sellers, manufacturers, public sources and other third parties. Listings may include:

  • make and model
  • year of registration
  • mileage
  • engine and transmission
  • equipment and specifications
  • photographs
  • vehicle location
  • price
  • availability
  • other vehicle information

We make reasonable efforts to keep published information accurate, but availability, prices, specifications and other details may change without notice.

A vehicle shown on the website is not reserved or sold until MedAuto confirms the relevant transaction in writing. Photographs may not show its current condition. Customers may request further photographs, information or an inspection before committing to a purchase.

4.Vehicle Sourcing

Customers may ask MedAuto to search for or source a particular vehicle. The customer must provide accurate requirements, including where applicable:

  • make and model
  • year
  • budget
  • mileage
  • fuel type
  • transmission
  • equipment
  • destination country
  • other relevant requirements

A sourcing request does not guarantee that a particular vehicle will be found or available.

5.Vehicle Inspection

Where an inspection is requested or included in a service, MedAuto may arrange it through an independent inspection company, dealer or other third party.

An inspection provides additional information but cannot guarantee that every defect, previous repair, accident, mechanical problem or future failure will be identified. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, MedAuto does not provide an independent technical warranty for an inspection performed by a third party.

6.Vehicle History

Where available, MedAuto may provide vehicle-history information from third-party databases, dealers, manufacturers, authorities or other sources. It is provided for information only; MedAuto cannot guarantee that third-party history is complete or error-free.

Customers should request clarification or further verification when particular information is important to their purchase decision.

7.Prices

Prices displayed on the website may represent:

  • the vehicle price
  • MedAuto service fees
  • transportation costs
  • export-related costs
  • shipping costs
  • a combination of these costs

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices do not automatically include customs duties, import taxes, registration charges or other charges imposed by the destination country.

The final price and included services will be confirmed to the customer before completion of the transaction.

8.Purchase and Payment

If a customer decides to proceed, MedAuto may require a deposit or advance payment before purchasing or reserving the vehicle or arranging related services. Payment instructions and deadlines will be communicated separately.

A payment does not automatically complete the purchase unless MedAuto has confirmed the transaction. Where MedAuto purchases a vehicle on a customer's behalf, the purchasing arrangement and ownership structure will be communicated before payment.

9.Cancellation

Cancellation rights and any refund depend on the nature and stage of the transaction. If MedAuto has already purchased or reserved a vehicle, paid third-party fees or arranged transportation, inspection, shipping or other services on the customer's behalf, those costs may be non-refundable where legally permitted.

Specific cancellation conditions will be communicated before transaction confirmation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

10.Transportation and Shipping

MedAuto may arrange transport through independent transport companies, carriers, ports, shipping companies or logistics providers. Estimated transport and shipping dates are indicative and may be affected by:

  • transport availability
  • port congestion
  • weather
  • customs procedures
  • carrier schedules
  • governmental requirements
  • other circumstances outside MedAuto's reasonable control

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delays caused by third-party transport or shipping providers do not constitute a failure by MedAuto to provide the service.

11.Export and Customs

MedAuto may assist with export documentation and related procedures. Unless MedAuto expressly agrees in writing to verify it, customers are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle can legally be imported and registered in the destination country.

Import duties, VAT, customs charges, registration fees, homologation costs and other destination-country charges are generally the customer's responsibility unless expressly included in the agreed price.

For vehicles intended for Algeria or another destination country, customers should independently verify applicable import rules before confirming the purchase.

12.Third-Party Services

MedAuto may work with independent third parties, including:

  • vehicle dealers and sellers
  • inspection companies
  • transport companies
  • shipping companies
  • customs and export agents
  • payment providers
  • other professional service providers

Third-party services may have their own terms and conditions. Where legally applicable, MedAuto remains responsible for services it has expressly undertaken to provide itself.

13.Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • provide accurate and complete information
  • provide documents requested for the transaction
  • make payments within agreed deadlines
  • comply with applicable import, customs and registration requirements
  • verify that the vehicle meets the customer's intended use and destination requirements
  • promptly inform MedAuto of relevant changes in circumstances

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of information supplied to MedAuto.

14.Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and operational but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. It may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, updates, security measures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

15.Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, including text, logos, graphics, design, photographs, databases and other materials, are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit them without prior written permission, except where the law permits.

16.Limitation of Liability

MedAuto will provide its services with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, MedAuto is not responsible for losses directly resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including acts or omissions of independent third parties, transport or shipping delays, customs decisions, legislative changes or governmental restrictions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Spanish or European law. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

17.Force Majeure

MedAuto is not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, governmental measures, border restrictions, cyber incidents, transport disruptions, port closures or similar events.

18.Privacy

Personal data collected through the website and our services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and applicable Spanish legislation.

19.Changes to These Terms

MedAuto may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be published on our website with its update date. The version applicable to a transaction is the one accepted by the customer at the relevant time, subject to mandatory applicable law.

For customers acting in the course of business or professional activity, disputes will, where legally permitted, be submitted to the competent courts in Spain.
